The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The book, the Hunger Games, the first book of the best series in the world, is made by author Suzanne Collins. This book will leave you guessing what will happen next. After a few pages, you will be struggling to put the book down. It will leave you on the edge of your seat. This science fiction novel is one that you will enjoy. The book starts off in district 12, a territory in a dystopian world, where a brave, talented girl named Katniss Everdeen is a nominee for the Hunger Games.
First, the story starts off when Katniss Everdeen volunteers as tribute for her sister Prim, who was picked for the games. This sends a shock through all the districts because no one has ever done that before and they didn’t think anyone would. After she volunteers, she and the other volunteer, Peeta, take the train to get to the capital for the games. The games are rough for them. She is by herself while Peeta is with a group of warriors. What will happen to her vs the four warriors? Read the book to find out.
Next, the story has a weird electrifying mood tinged with sadness. Also, the first person point of view keeps the reader wanting to read and mourning for the characters. It makes it interesting and exciting. The setting helps it out with the killing and death helps the sad mood, but the spear that misses by centimeters electrifies the story to build to the climax.
Third, I think this book was good because it gets you involved and in too it.I would really recommend this book it was great and it really hit home it showed how a dictator thinks he is better that everyone. Everyone should read this book and hope you enjoy it.
In Conclusion, the book was good and I hope that whoever reads it likes it.It is a great book and everyone should read it.So hope you enjoy the fantastic book by Suzanne Collins.
