Kathryn Stocketts Wrote One of the Best Books Ever
What a fantastic book! This is one of the best books I've ever read, and I normally don't read. I think others should read it because it kept me wanting to read more and find out what happens. It was a really great book and it teaches you about the past and how it used to be. Kathryn Stockett wrote one of the best books ever!
It's the 1960s in Jackson, Mississippi and Skeeters just come home from college. She's living her normal life, hanging with her friends and getting a job while her friends Mrs.Leefolt and Mrs.Hilly don't work at all. While Aibileen, Mrs.Leefolt’s maid, is helping Skeeter, Skeeter gets an idea to write a book. Aibileen gets Minny, Mrs.Hilly’s moms old maid, to help. Skeeter says it'll be done in secret because the segregation was bad. They get many maids to help. But the real struggle is keeping it from Hilly because Hilly will surely start stuff.
I would say this is one of the best books ever. I would definitely give “The Help” four and a half stars! I loved hearing Minny’s sass, Aibileen’s advice, and all the conflict. This book brings so much joy. I think if you read it you'll love the lessons, the laughter, the interesting parts, and the important theme. The theme to “The Help” was not to judge others by there skin, because they shouldn't be treated any differently than anyone else. If you’re looking for a good book to read I think you should read “The Help”.
Kathryn Stockett has written one of the best books ever! She's written a book that you never want to put down. She's written so many lessons into this book but with funny, and interesting parts that make you want to read more. And the theme! The theme was definitely important to the story. If you want a great book to read go and read “The Help”! Kathryn Stockett has truly written one of the best books ever.
