Columbine by Dave Cullen
Columbine, by Dave Cullen, is an amazing book. I read this because I wanted to know more about what happened at that school on April 19, 1999. Columbine is about the shootings that occurred that day, what lead the shooters to do it, and the aftermath of the shooting.
Dave Cullen was a reporter who covered the Columbine shootings. He interviews hundreds of people, some who were at home, some who were actually shot, and survived. He talks about the thirteen people who died, and what they were like. Published on April 6, 2009, he worked for ten years on the book to truly uncovered what happened that day.
I had no problems with this book. It was well written, used sources from the police, and truly a work of art. I read this for my English class, as my nonfiction. The best part?
