If I Stay by Gayle Forman
If I Stay is one of those books that makes you laugh and cry, is filled with love and loss, and will make you sob with a smile. Gayle Forman tells the story of 17 year old musician, Mia Hall who has to make a choice. She can either go to Juilliard and leave Oregon, or stay with her beautiful family (the kind everybody wishes they were born into) and love of her life Adam, who is so perfect you know can only exist in the fictional world. However one snowy morning her world is turned upside down when a unexplainable car accident causes her to have to make the terrible and gut-wrenching decision that she had been trying to make for months. Should she go or should she stay? This is a powerful novel filled with love, loss, laughs and tears and it will definitely make you laugh through your tears.
