pretty little liars by Sara Shepard
Pretty Little Liars By: Sara Shepard is a wonderful mystery that will hook you and will keep you be on the edge of your seat. This murder mystery takes you inside the book, and as you think you're close to solving the mystery it throws you a curve ball. Pretty little liars is the first book in the series but is not the last book you'll buy. Every page is full of vivid imagery and descriptive way to give information that will make you feel as if you were right along side Hanna, Aria, Emily, and Spencer trying to find out who killed their best friend, Alison Dilaurentis.
Reading Pretty Little Liars takes you to the beautiful town of Rosewood, where Alison Dilaurentis went missing but was later found dead. Alison was the “Queen Bee” of her school (rosewood day school). She learned how to control everyone around her. Her four best friends were Emily, Spencer, Hanna, and Aria. Ali may have been the most popular girl at her school but many people disliked her, even her friends started to dislike her. Ali was manipulative and always got her way, and someone grew old of Ali bossing everyone around so they killed her and buried her in her backyard. Ali was missing for a few years and eventually her family moved and a new family moved in. Construction workers were digging in the Dilaurentis old backyard when the discovered Ali’s body. Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer attended her funeral and that's when it all began. Each one got an anonymous text from a mysterious person name A, who knows who Ali’s killer is. The friends now reunited to solve who killed the best friend Alison Dilaurentis. They sacrifice their own lives to figure out who killed Ali.
Reading pretty little liars was thrilling and had me at the edge of my seat the whole time when I was reading it. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading mysteries. I think people who enjoy reading mysteries will like this book because their is the big mystery of who killed Ali. I would rate this book an eight out of ten it's an amazing book that will keep you hooked at every turn of the page. The way Sara Shepard describes things in the book makes you feel like you are right there in rosewood and takes you through the lives of five girls Ali, Emily, Hanna, Aria, and Spencer. You can hear what they hear, you can see what they see, feel the feelings they feel. This was an wonderful book to read and I think everyone would enjoy reading it .
