Soulstice by Simon Holt
Soulstice is a mystery, it’s scary, and horrifying at times. That’s what I like about this book. I could hardly put the book down, and when I actually did is when I got a little nervous or almost scared. It’s like the book comes to life in your mind, Simon Holt makes you the character. You play through the book with you own eyes. Not hers or the story character and that’s what is most exciting.
Reggie is one of the main characters along with her little brother and several more. She has a job to do and the job is no ordinary job. Her job is unspeakable, unexplainable, and just plain out scary. Fear scapes are where all your fears go and hide in your soul. Well, Reggie has to live with people who souls are becoming taken over by the creatures call vours. Vours are the one that trap your real self in your fear scape and you have to face all of your fears to stay alive. These creatures are killing you from the inside out. This girl helps the people through their own fear scape and she is the only one that has been able to do it.

Over the entire book I thought would be a five star book. The author is wonderful at writing scary and adventurous books. So the book was again easy to understand yet fun filled adventures. Reggie fights vours off, going through the fear scape and try not to get killed in the process.
For this book I would recommend someone who isn’t scared easily and who loves mysteries. Again it can get pretty scary at times and heart racing. So if your one that loves to have a heart racing experiences then pick this book up.
