Saving Dexter
The title “Saving Dexter” written by Sophia Demir talks about saving a dog her writing story left me feeling sad and open minded. The article talks about all these dogs in cages but she can only save one. In the article it states, “There were ten other dogs on the list and hundreds that would someday find there way on it.” This line made me think about the time I went to the animal shelter to get a dog a saw twenty to thirty dogs all looking sad. Sophia goes on to say, “ Despite my previous negative thoughts about leaving hundreds of dogs behind, I was content with what I have done.” This reminds me of picking the dog and seeing all these other dogs I could of helped but didn’t I was sad at first but realized I can't help all of them but atleast I helped one.
