The ASOS Experience
Anything that involves personalization in the clothes buying process is a yes from me. At Asos online shopping, I can do exactly that. With a warehouse based out of London, England, there are countless styles, clothing, and accessories to choose from while browsing the online website. Asos makes it simple and clear to navigate the platform so that you can purchase your favorite styles for any event without hassle.
From my personal experience, shopping at Asos opens up a world of diverse styles to the customer. Whether you typically purchase trendy, basic, or classic clothing, this site offers it all, leaving you flabbergasted. Overall, the wide variety of styles is what makes the shopping website suitable for just about every user.
If it overwhelms you to think of sorting through thousand of shirts, pants, and accessories, the website has a “filter button” to make it easy to find pieces to love, that are fitting to your own fashion sense. You can filter certain sizes, colors, sleeve lengths, and more. The filtering possibilities seem endless, and the tool comes in handy when you don’t have to the time to scroll through items you’re uninterested in.
Pertaining to sizing, Asos offers clothing in petite, regular, tall, maternity, and plus size, and doesn’t disclude any group. There is something for everyone, and from what I’ve seen, an item offered in one category of size is almost always offered in all of the others as well.
As an Asos account holder, I suggest that if the website is something that you’re interested in, you should get an account too. With the account, you can “favorite” items by clicking the heart icon next to the item. This feature allows for you to save items that you’re interested in if you don’t want it in your cart just yet. These items go to a section in your account where easy access is allowed to pieces that interest you. A plus is that the amount of pieces you add to this feature have no limit, and they will always stay there unless the items sell out or you delete them.
When it comes to the delivery and return process, shipping is always free which is a main reason I love to shop there. If I don’t like items that I order, I don’t have to worry about a huge shipping return cost.
The only downside of the company is that once delivered, I have found a couple times that some items are incorrect or don’t look how they did on the website. Although, out of my several purchases, I usually don’t have that problem, and it isn’t a large issue that I worry about when shopping at Asos. I have bought an assortment of items including coats, shoes, shorts, pants, and tops. I am rarely disappointed in the clothes because of the quality and unique style they provide.
When finally receiving Asos items, the sizing varies depending on the wide variety of brands offered on the website. There are brands from Nike to Converse to lesser known brands that may run large or small depending on the manufacturing of clothing. That is one thing that may be inconvenient when shopping on the site because you can’t always be consistent with your sizing choice depending on the brand you purchase from.
From my personal experience though, I almost always end up being satisfied with my purchases, and they make it very easy and convenient to return items if that isn't the case. From a summer sundress to a stylish winter coat to blouses of all different hues, the site never disappoints me. Asos offers such a wide variety of clothing, brands, and sizing for all teens and young adults, and I would recommend that anyone who has an interest in fashion take a look next time online shopping comes to mind.
