The writing titled “Fish” written by Emma H. talks about a lake. Her writing left me feeling confused. I did not understand what the story was about. It was a confusing article because I did not know if she was talking about something else, using symbolism, or just talking about a lake. When she writes, “They are killing the wasps.” I did not understand what that was supposed to mean. Some of the other things she wrote about was a lake, a dock, a lake house, and the character’s family. When she also wrote, “A rope is tied around my ankle,” I did not know what that was supposed to mean. The article is not put together well because it is a very confusing article and is not explained very well. I also do not relate to the story in any way because I do not know what the story is about.
