Oh my, how much the time has come to pass
Oh my, how much the time has come to pass,
Since I was young and I could barely read.
But now, I’m here and almost done with class,
Recalling those days when I used to feed.
These are the days that we begin to miss
Those strangers that to this day are our friends.
Never again these last moments of bliss,
Where we’re in one place making no amends.
The coming years will never be the same,
As life plans to become more intricate.
Our past has prepared us with great acclaim,
To soon become the future advocates.
Through these words that I solemnly confess,
Our presence here was more than just a bless.
