What the Earth Says
The Earth can talk. It can hear. It can think;
Just look in a book to chain up the links.
Books make treasures, historical gems;
The words are the leaves, the pages the stems.
Books are the Earth’s brain, though it hasn’t been taught.
Each book is a channel that leads to a thought.
To be bored when you read is stop the surreal.
The characters beckon each eye with their calming appeal.
If you’d just listen to what the Earth has to share.
Then time would stand still and you might actually care.
To read is to open, not just your mind but your heart.
Words spark emotions that only authors can start.
What should books inspire you to do?
Share what you feel…and publish it too!
