Summer
The summer always so bright and gorgeous
The glistering water so bright and blue
The twinkling sun is so enormous
In the summer there is so much to do
Seagulls squawking is such an annoyance
Walking the boardwalk gum sticks to your shoe
Clowns giggle as you watch their performance
The boardwalk food, just a dollar or two
Tasty treats and drinks among the food stands
Thrills of the rides will make any kid smile
The way the waves crash along the beach's sands
And makes all your time in summer worth while
But this season will end... until next year
Where your summer memories will appear
