With the Shadows Alone
Lost in this tunnel, darkness devours,
Sit in it to hear, only your echo,
The time changes, from minutes, to hours,
And soon the time spent, you don’t even know,
Look through the window to see the good cheer
You shout and you bang against the thick door,
It seems as if no one inside can hear,
Rain from the sky, and thunders will roar
Within this dark tunnel, there on my own,
Left chilly, with no choice but to linger,
Greatest consequence, of being alone.
From the sky, a white rose, pricks my finger,
Then the storm calms, quiet, tranquility,
I admire the white rose’s beauty.
