The dizzying spirals
Will never cease
The shadowy figures
Will never believe
The truths that you whisper
The lies that you scream
Always the forest
And never the trees
The soft silver linings
Are what no one sees
The storm clouds prevail
Dictating the sky
A harsh orchestration
Of bass drums and blue fire
As we make our way
Down the trail of life
Resting our eyes
And lighting our pipes
Singular beings in
A dark sea of night
Searching the landscape
For pools of gold light
