Yellow Scarf
I.
Above me was a dreary sky.
With overrated clouds that cry.
And me letting out a sad soft sigh.
With abstract mind and tears in my eyes.
II.
Back before when the day is clear.
There in a site where i could hear you sing.
Then i chase and whisper to the wind.
"Tell that girl i want to be her friend."
Chorus:
And i'll paint the whole sky with gray.
And arrange the stars in their place.
You'll see them spell out my name.
Scattered up there beautifully glazed.
And as the dawn breaks the day.
I guess you'd know what i wanted to say.
Behind the clouds you will see.
The scribbled letters of "please don't forget about me."
III.
But everything's just a memory now.
And i'm still a stranger here somehow.
And i wonder if you think of me.
I hope the wall was gone completely.
*Chorus*
Bridge:
And in a lush-like hill you stand.
I watched you as the wind transcend.
A silent scream raised up in my heart.
Please remember me, girl in a yellow scarf.
