I heard he left yesterday
I didn’t get to say goodbye
He’s probably in a better place
The only question I have is why
He’s gone now
But I will remember him
Does he know how proud
I was to be his friend?
He made me laugh
Now he’s makin’ me cry
All I can say now,

He wrote in my notebook
I’m not sure what to say
Can’t replace what he took
