A Revelation
When childhood dropped
The world became a box
A set forward straight line
Of disappointment and shock
Never knowing what I was
Being taught mistakes of love
Only to hide in the dark
And experience the shun
Walking away from ignorance of one
Gaining power
To ignore the life of your son
You taught me hate
Yet I returned with love,
You taught me power
Yet I returned with none,
You gave me life
Yet I breath on my own,
You told me to follow
Yet I said no.
The stories came to a stop
Once the truth was spread
Darkness filled our hearts
When you said...
Get out, Get out
Ringing in my ears
Get out get out
For I belong to the “queers”
You taught me hate
Yet I returned with love,
You taught me power
Yet I returned with none,
You gave me life
Yet I breath on my own,
You told me to follow
Yet I said no.
