Stepmother
Hey there, Mother
How are you doing?
Do you miss me?
Do you ever wonder what am doing now?
Well I’ll tell you
I don’t miss you
And I’m doing quit fine
Hey Mother
Do you ever wonder why I left?
Do you even think of me?
Well I’ll tell you
I left because of you
The bruises became too much
The hurt became unbearable for me to take
But don’t worry because I don’t think about you anymore
Because I will not break
I will not bend
I will stay strong
Hey Mother
How are you doing?
I bet you feel happy that am gone
That you think am broken from the inside
That I can never be fixed
Well, let me tell you something
I am happy that I left
I am not broken
And I am fixed
I will not fall
I will not break again
I will not give in
Hey Mother
I just want to tell you that
I am doing fine
Am still hurt
But I’ll survive
I’ll move on
I’ll never give in
Because Mother
I am not the same little girl anymore
So I have one last thing to tell you
Goodbye,
Stepmother
