what do you see when you look in my eyes,
do you see darkness,
or do you see light

do you see an angel,
soaring high in the sky,
or do you see the devil,
hidden in disguise

do you see the nightmares,
that awaken me at night,
or do you see the fantasies,
coated in a bunch of lies

do you see the person that I dream to be,
or do you see the person stuck here-in reality
