This piece shows how temptations such as greed are constantly arising in our lives. No matter the circumstance, we must ignore these temptations that are "pounding" on our heads trying to overcome the morality within us. The purpose of the last line is to spark debate in the reader's mind, causing them to argue with themself internally about whether they let these wrongs enter their spirit, or do they lock them out.
