Heavy iron chains
Constricting and contorting
Wrap around my lungs

I can feel the Earth
Crashing down upon my back
Splintering my spine

A thousand cold hands
Choke the voice out of my heart
Then tear through my throat

Forced down to the ground
Gagging on my blood soaked fears
My soul pouring out

Drawing one last breath
I pen my tale of horror
My anxiety
