Star Gazing
At first,
Tiny specks of brilliant light
Glowing, shining
Blanketing the sky
So far away
So beautiful
But the longer I stare,
I am suddenly aware
Their remarkableness is suddenly clear
They are unbelievable
Yet perfectly, immovably still
Just hanging there
Oblivious to their own wonder
Out there with the stars
Mystery, wonders, miracles
But maybe it’s enough
Just to look in wonder towards the sky
A great alluring darkness
Nothingness
Yet infinite everything
Right there, just look u
