Happiness
Happiness is
Night walks on the beach
With wind tussling hair
A lit candle's scent
Wavering through the air.
Laughing so hard
Until stomachs hurt
Spending hours in the kitchen
Baking decandent desserts.
The thrill of rollercoasters
Soaring so high
Beautiful summer days
Full of cloudless skies.
School football games
Every Friday night
Friends sharing stories
Around bonfire light.
Cozy sweaters
And colorful leaves in fall
Blasting music
Blaring through walls.
Chilling ice cream
On a hot summer day
The last day of school
Sending stress away.
It's the warmth
That floods the heart
Seeping through the body
Tearing sorrow apart.
It's bright and bold
What everyone craves, indeed
Makes the world go 'round
Life's eternal need.

I was inspired to write this poem by filling it with things that bring me happiness, such as bonfires, football games, and music. Many readers can probably relate to this poem, as many things in this poem may bring them happiness, too. I hope people will get from this piece that it's the little things in life that sometimes can bring the most happiness.
