Some See Snow
How do you see snow?
Barren and colorless?
It blankets the earth and masks the many tones.
It suffocates the warmth and color of the planet.
Strangling the grasses, branches, and ponds.
Sprinkling over everything like the parmesan for pizza.
Birds retreat, flowers wither, and frogs bury themselves in potential coffins.
It is the ultimate symbol of cold.
Some hide indoors,
but the truly grateful recognize the beauty.
The potential fun.
White light contains every wavelength of visible light.
Think deep, some see snow as a rainbow.
