My Escape
I was always in touch with the nature around me
I admired the way the leaves moved in the wind
In variations of colors
I would often sit in the green grass of the open field
In the forest I would watch the animals and the water
There was one perfect tree
Its roots jutted out over the water
With just enough space to sit on
I would gaze at the river
How the water would sparkle
When the sun peaked through the dense trees
How it was so shallow you could see straight to the bottom
I loved the way nature gives you opportunities to see its beauty
Up close and personal
Your own secret show
Of the river flowing
And the trees dancing
