Love and Hate
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love can hurt like heck sometimes.
Love is like a ghost you can’t see but know is there.
Love can carry you away or leave you in tears.
Love comes slowly love comes fast.
But only the strongest of loves will truly last.
Hate is like a wildfire that spreads through the smallest flame.
Hate can burn you bad, it’s an evil game.
Hate can be seen in someone’s eyes or rolled off their tongue telling lies.
Hate will mess a person up, leaving their heart full of scars.
Hate is the hardest of tests.
And the thin line between love and hate is where people like to rest.

What inspired me to write this poem is how love and hate are opposites, but they go hand in hand sometimes. In my experience with love and hate I feel like they are both strong emotions and that they can drive us to do stupid things, and that their impact on a person can be so strong that it physically hurts. This is how I view love and hate.
