Forgetful Memories
tender sweet, a heart forged of gold
She gazes into the mesmerizing puddle, a mirror image
that cannot recognize the cold aging Woman staring back
as the eroding waves slowly take it away
and sounds of a quite drips flow through the air as a faucet runs.
Surrounded by withering flowers yearning for drink
a Stranger, with a crescent moon smile approaches.
the confused mind unable to see, a thick mist questions
"who are You?"
floodgates open from the Stranger's eyes, down to rose cheeks
"it's me Grandma."
