Dreams
Dreams are dreams and nothing more
Unless you make them a metaphor
Listen my children and you shall hear
Of this life lesson loud and clear
Dreams are hopes and something you want
They just sit there and give you a taunt
They are just something that you see
But in reality, they are far from reach
You see it in your sleep
But it slips away through a seep
You see it again when you're awake
The only thing is, that it's all fake
Or you can flip it around
And make it homebound
Maybe see it a different way
And get closer everyday
Make it a metaphor and by that I mean
To stride for your goal and make it seem
That it's a choice not what you wish for
Because dreams are dreams and nothing more
