Life is like a blanket.
It wraps you up, almost suffocating you.
It comforts you with your lies and cries from your past and future.
What it forgets to whisper to you as it cradles you to sleep is that there is no future.
There is no answer.
When you detach yourself it captures your warmth, leaving you as a cold, desolate body of a once gifted, and zealous heart.
You lay back down and it covers you in it's stolen love, it's stolen joy, and whispers,
You are as I wish.
