Hypocrite
I will not fold my hands, like white paper
I will not take and take the acid rain, shrinking limestone
I will not change my happy song sour, I am not yours to sour
I will not taste my iron blood on top or bottom lip, no vampires can touch me
I will not take the sickly sweet apology cake, I don’t take fake sugar, I will not settle for Splenda
Because
I will not be desperate for any one person’s love.
You didn’t raise me that way.
