Favorite Quote:
“My dear,
Find what you love and let it kill you.
Let it drain you of your all. Let it cling onto your back and weigh you down into eventual nothingness.
Let it kill you and let it devour your remains.
For all things will kill you, both slowly and fastly, but it’s much better to be killed by a lover.

She slowly vanished

Into the air
A billion little particles
But I don't know where

I screamed out in warning
But I stopped myself
Mid-sentence
I stopped myself from mourning
Though I haven't seen her since

Sometimes she appears in my mind
Her silence gets louder
Her blood gets browner
As I lose track of time

I follow her down through the orange forest
Secrets, whispers, disconnected
Sighs
Emanate a never-ending chorus
She leads me to the bridge as I start to cry

She doesn't turn around
Does she know I'm here?
She jumps into a sea, doesn't make
A sound
Just like that I watch her disappear

Her clothes, once white
Float to the surface of the water
Now a deep brown
And just like they
I have forgotten what I
Call her

This poem is about about religion and spiritualty. I wrote it to be very open to interpretation because the woman described in the poem represents everything I believe in and so would be interpretted differently by everyone based on personal beliefs and views.
