The War-front
I have seen many battles
I have seen blood been shed
I have seen the great warriors fall
Making the enemies win
I have looked into the eyes of the darkness
I have seen the venture flee with fear
I have been on the battlefield in action, holding the weapons made by hand
I have seen the deadly combat seize lives by the many
I have seen the tear shed path of those who have doubted
I have morosely seen the war.

I wrote this poem after I saw the movie "American Sniper" directed by Clint Eastwood. The movie touched my heart and made me have a better understanding of those who fight for us. Not only are these people risking their lives for us but they are taking time away from their familes to proetect us. These people are the true heroeos.
