Bullying
I'm sick.
Tells the child to her mother.
Hoping her mom will believe her.
She doesn't want to go, she can't.
She makes every attempt to make her mom believe her.
But yet she still doesn't.
But still the child still doesn't want to go.
She doesn't want to hear the words those mean girls
Shout into her face.
That remain in her ears all day.
Repeating in her mind.
Fat.
Ugly.
Stupid.
Worthless.
The mean girls shout these words at her.
Just like she'd predicted.
She makes it through the day.
Without making herself throw up.
Just so she could go home.
Late that night,
She replays the day in her head.
Thinking about what those girls said.
And she runs to the bathroom.
She slices her wrist.
Hoping it'll fix the pain.
But it doesn't.
Instead her mom finds her.
Laying in the bathtub.
Bled out, and unconcious.
But still living.
Later in the hospital,
She passes away that night.
All because of false words,
People told her.
Maybe if she were told;
Beautiful.
Skinny.
Intelligent.
Worth so much.
All the truths.
She'd be here.

This piece in no way is about myself. I wrote this once I realized the amount of people that are bullied, self-concious, or harming themselves due to words people have said to them, or about them. I figured this topic needs more awareness, so I've brouht the attention upon it through this.
