My Life
Walking down this seemingly empty trail called life,
I run into many obstacles,
the branches of heartache brush my face,
while the leaves of love crunch under my toes
I walk on this gravel road with
cuts on my cold bare feet,
the stones of fear kick behind me falling to the hard ground with
tears,
tears of the past,
the present,
and future
while the tree roots of hate trip me,
always get back up
the sun of rage blinds me as my hand rises to my face,
while the darkness of depression rushes over me,
just keep walking
walking till I can walk no more,
walking till there is no life to live,
walking till my last breath on this planet called earth.
