The 'Hood

Up the street, there are the big, nice house that everyone wants to live in, but down the street are the cockroach infested, run-down apartments with the playground out front. Next door there’s Larry’s house with the stream of cats that ever seem to end. Down the hill is the school, the rivals, the enemies. Walk back up and there’s my house; smack-dab on the top of the hill with its wooden frame and forest of plants.
