To Stay or to Go
You made her feel like
She was underwater,
holding on,
to the thin
Fishing line
that binds you together,
but she lets it go.
You were the world to her,
but also her nothing.
How could someone that had
great importance,
Pull her further and further under,
with the look of your taunting
Hazel-green eyes.
You have nothing in common,
But speak of common tongue.
you are the same difference.
Not making sense,
and making it again.
When will this ocean current
of what you call love
burn into nothing?
But you are something,
something of significance.
Holding her back from what she could be
and who she could meet.
Holding her to promises that she wishes to keep,
holding her to happiness and joy.
She constantly wonders
Why her head
And heart are being pulled
into different directions,
Never agreeing,
to stay or to go.
