Boy, I'm glad we met
Boy, in this vast world
everyday I spend with you
should make tomorrow bright too
and now the orange colored sun sinks down
our silhouette will become
the glow of the sunset
oh how bright
the glow of the sunset

The author's comments:
One of my favorite shows that I watch is Jungle Emperor 1989, and this poem is based on the ending theme of that show, which is "Become the Glow of The Sunset". In this ending theme, the love interest of the main character sings this song to him in a way that looks at the two of them through a childhood that might have been and an eternal promise of a life the two now live with one another.
