Watch and See

See the trees
their bending and twisting,
moved by the wind.
Hundreds of years old,
hundreds of branches,
hundreds of feet tall.
They've lost all of their leaves,
in a hundred beautiful,
versions of fall.
And in one strike of lightning,
with one gust of wind,
they fall down.
