The conductor music is the ball
directing in a whisper
The beat is the feet
Pounding on the floor
The background music is the crowd
Their cheers filling the gym
The vocals is the players
Their yells in time with the ball
But my beat is my heart
Drumming to its own tune
My vocals is the ball
I pay attention to it all the time
My background music is the blood rushing in my ears
Keeping me in time with the beat
If you listen to the beat
Of the world all around you
You will see like I see
And see like I hear
