Stutter
My words are cautious not flawed
I hesitate for the judging world around me
Maybe my words won’t be good enough
So I edit them, before I say them
Lest my words dissolve me
Mold me into a mistake
A tone can change a meaning
The worst weapon God gave us
But yet the greatest blessing
Without the words “I love you”, it could never be told or heard
But neither could the sharpness of hatred spoken aloud
Mute,
could save countless lives
Maybe the world should remain in silence
