My Walls are Mint Green
My walls are mint green
I want to paint them the colour of your insides
I would slam on the breaks if I saw you
But I don’t have my license
Time still stops
When I read things that echo your absence
But not like it used to
I don’t feel sick
I used to hate
That everything I could do
You could do better
You made me feel like the reflection
But not what was standing in front of the glass
I was useless
A glass half empty
Drink me up
I want to go away now
