I imagine numbers have control of her life.
Counting bills,

multiplying income,


subtracting calories.
Her bones have become predominate
as the numbers continue to dominate.




Cutting corners,






avoiding meals,







thriving off self hate.
A downward spiral ignored for decades,
yet plain to see.
A lifetime sentence






passed







down


to



me.
