You say to me; I say to you;
You say to me; 'You nod, but are you listening?'.
I say to you; 'You see when I roll my eyes but, are you seeing the tears in them as well? You yell at me, insisting I don't listen, but don't understand you put me through hell'.
I say to you; 'I don't understand the meaning of what you're teaching'.
You say to me; 'Because you're not listening!'.
It's a back and forth argument between you and I, that continues to go further until one of us starts to cry.
We continue to yell at each other back and forth, though we both know this argument is pointless, we continue to spew words.
Finally, the argument is over, and I lie here in bed, my face stained with fresh tears.
You used to talk about the arguments you had with your parents, you tell me you've gotten over them, now.
So, I know I'll be over this, within years...
