"rules are for ordinary people to think life is fair." -tim taddicken

Budding blooms surface with great stealth
The colors of winter grow warmer
The sweet scent of youthful flowers
Crisp wet grass glistens from the early dew
A soft loving sunset, an aura behind the trees

A gentle rabbit rubs his eyes open
Thumps his foot and awakens the others

Sweet fruit juices explode in my mouth
As I savor every bite of the fresh produce

The warm sunrays kiss my cheek
Awaking sleeping angel kisses, freckles.
A smile passes my lips as a child
Splashes in a puddle
The wheels churning at the ground from a tricycle

Birds sing innocently, being a muse for the lost.
Telling the world a story through song
Soft baby pink and sherbet orange
Fill the sky like a canvas painted perfectly
Sounds and sights dance across your senses

A caterpillar awakens and springs forth
Exiting the chamber it once dwelled in
Spreading his wings gingerly and gently
He takes flight and dances
Effortlessly across the horizon

Women let their hair down
Basking in the awaited light
Silence, relaxation, reawakening
Hope.

The air, feeling of delicate silk
The newly birthed woods creaks as a stretch
Lengthening out the stance of the vegetation.
A guitar’s sweet melody fills the crisp atmosphere
A young couple dance barefooted in the fresh mowed grass
Brilliant animals scurry across the earth’s floor
Silence, relaxation, reawakening
Hope.

Green vines swirl and entwine in the deep roots
Creating a maze for the tiny lady bug
A pray mantis kneels beside the caterpillar
A deer gently nibbles in the fresh meadow
The spots, pure white, seem to make the mammal seem
Innocent, youthful, lively
All the first signs of spring.

my inspiration came from a writing prompt in school, and the park near my home.
