Running Through Life
I see the children running.
In their radiant and vibrant clothes they swiftly drift away
on the unpaved road.
They run from the coral and sea sky in the horizon
that holds all their memories.
I see emotionless figures with no faces.
Unsure of what will come next.
Each of a different heritage,
they all hope to find their place in life.
I see them, worried about the future.
Where will I go they wonder.
They reach out and try to grab their futures.
Each feel something different.
Some rough , some slippery, some steamy, and even some icy.
They run to find their fate and destiny
in adulthood.
