Never Saw It Coming
The cars pass, the street lights glow, my mind doesn't flow. I walk alone along the paved road, the birds in the air recognize another lonely person.
If my actions can speak louder than my words, I'll be the most assuring voice. In the end I've lost more than I've gained, I guess I'm just sick of feeling contained. Everything around me is dying, if I knew any better you would say that I'm lying.
My mind has no limit, my thoughts are most definite.
I see the sun, it shoots through me like a gun.
I see myself the way people see me and in the end I just want to say my amends.
