Honors Physics
Constantly measuring the trajectory of your glances
I want to fall into your splash zone.
But you have your puppy dog eyes
On a girl who leads you on
And you kiss her and she lets you
But she doesn’t kiss you back
Measuring the friction between your social life and
Mine (lack thereof) but the
? value is always off
And you slip away to get blackout drunk
With some friends who celebrate their high school
Glory-days but yours are yet to
Come so don’t sell yourself short
For some friends who go nowhere
And a girl who doesn’t love you.
But what do I know
I failed the final exam.
