Sun: A Poem of the Everlasting
With step after step,
I ascended.
Stumbling here and there,
But maintaining composure.
The composure of each breathe,
With step after step.
With the air and to the eye,
I befriended.
Encountering lost mortals,
Some in slumber and others vigilant.
My presence makes them reversed,
With the air and to the eye.
As I watched my partner fall,
I transcended.
The initial flash of our eclipse,
A greeting from the land and sea.
Confounded by the structuring of walls,
As I watched my partner fall.
With slip after trip,
I descended.
My presence has no longer acknowledgement.
I grow tired and find disappointment in mortality.
So I return to where they deem unknown,
With slip after trip.
