Anger
This red hot thing that boils my blood.
It can’t be humane,
No it surely can’t
For this feeling is all too familiar to me.
When my parents are fighting I feel it,
When I’m hurt.
What do I do to let my insanity out,
Sometimes I feel death can only soothe the fire in my veins.
But I lock it up,
Deep inside my head,
Where nothing can touch it.
For if I let it all out,
I think I might drown in it.
