Do you see what others see
on the other side
Or do you see what’s really there
staring you in the eye
Do you see the first impression
that everyone will criticize
Or do you see the growing picture
ever changing with time
Do you see the battle scares
that will stay with you for life
Or do you see the memories
the good and bad alike.
Do you see the plain reflection
the right then and there
Or do you see the past, present, and possible futures
together to make the deepest parts of who you are
